Kate Cooley is the Conference & Marketing Coordinator for the League of Kansas Municipalities, and has been with the organization for over nine years. Kate oversees all of the League’s events, trainings, and conferences as well as external marketing and advertising sales for the organization. Prior to the League, she was the Convention Sales Manager for the Lawrence, Kansas Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Kate has her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. She is currently enrolled in the Kansas Certified Public Manager Program through the University of Kansas, set to graduate and earn the CPM designation son!

She resides in Topeka with her husband, Dennis, two daughters, and basset hound Lucy. In her spare time, she is an avid baker, and runs half marathons to counteract the calories in her sought-after custom sugar cookies.
