The KBC hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new lactation room at the State Capitol on Jan. 11, 2019. The room was generously furnished by John Wilson, Kansas Action for Children.  Speakers at the ceremony were: Brenda Bandy (KBC), Gov. Elect Kelly, Reps. Hineman (R), Ward (D), Horn (D), Ashley Goss (KDHE Dep. Secretary), and John Wilson (KS Action for Children).  Then Governor-Elect Laura Kelly and over 40 legislators and advocates were on hand for the ribbon-cutting.
