Flint Hills Mothers Milk Depot in Manhattan will provide Northeast Kansas mothers a convenient location for donating their expressed breast milk, which can be lifesaving for fragile, sick, or premature babies.  The milk depot is located at the Family & Child Resource Center building at the Riley County Health Department (RCHD) WIC office. RCHD clinic will facilitate a blood draw for mothers to complete the health screening. Once a mother has completed the necessary health screening and is approved to donate milk, she can bring her milk to the depot.

The Flint Hills Mothers Milk Depot is affiliated with the Oklahoma Mothers (OMMB). Milk collected in Manhattan will be shipped to the OMMB Bank for processing, pasteurization, and distribution.  The milk depot WILL NOT distribute breast milk to the public.
