One of the barriers to breastfeeding is misinformation. To counter this, the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition provides accurate, up-to-date information through breastfeeding classes in Kansas and other educational opportunities.

 

Our interactive, virtual classes are designed to provide education opportunities for anyone looking to learn more about breastfeeding and how to support breastfeeding parents and their children. Our breastfeeding classes in Kansas are approved for continuing education for nurses, dietitians, and lactation support providers.

You can register online to take any of our breastfeeding courses.

Who can take these courses?

By implementing breastfeeding-positive policies for parents and employees. Getting designated as a “Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Provider” is a great first step. The application process helps introduce the necessary policies and practices.

Are the courses free?

Because they are continuing education courses, Breastfeeding 101 and 201 each have a registration fee.
