Brenda Bandy Named Kansas State Children’s Champion
The Kansas Head Start Association (KHSA) announced today that the winner of the 2026 Kansas State Children’s Champion award is Brenda Bandy, Executive Director, Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition. Each year, the Kansas Head Start Association, along with the Region VII Head Start Association, honors a Kansan who has been an outstanding leader for children and early childhood education and development.
