Did you know that expanding Medicaid eligibility in Kansas could mean greater access to breastfeeding support for more families? Of the 150,000 Kansans living in the “Medicaid gap”, many are in need of breastfeeding support. You probably know or have helped some of these families.

Let’s make KanCare expansion a reality! Please attend one of the online advocacy workshops listed below, hosted by the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas, to learn how you can advocate for Medicaid expansion in Kansas. You will receive tools to talk with your networks and community leaders about the important of Medicaid expansion. It’s very possible that your email, phone call or on-the-street conversation could be the one thing that changes a state legislator’s mind about expanding KanCare.
