Kansas now ranks 9th in the nation of infants exclusively breastfeeding at 6 months. Our state exceeds the national average in all measures – for the first time! Also, Kansas now ranks in the TOP 15of states with high rates of both initiation of breastfeeding (12th) and breastfeeding at 12 months (15th).
