Whitney’s full-time managerial position has given her numerous skills such as communication, organization, time management, conflict resolution, and teaching creativity. She has worked in several rural hospital settings and a larger hospital and experienced how they each manage their L&D departments, the different resources each has for new mothers, breastfeeding/postpartum education delivery methods, and ways to utilize breastfeeding champions within the community. She loves seeing new and unique ways that people have found to accomplish similar goals, storing those ideas away, and being able to try several different methods to find the best solution for each mother/baby dyad.
