- Presented to Head Start/Early Head Start directors – encouraging all Early Head Start sites to apply for the Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Designation
- Presented to Johnson & Miami counties child care provider group – 111 people present!
- Creating a “Message of the Month” to address common barriers to supporting breastfeeding in the child care setting. Section partners will send the same message each month to child care providers through newsletters & social media platforms
- The Child Care Section is continuing to increase in members.
- Brenda continues to work with the Links to Quality project & the Department of Children & Families to include breastfeeding
- The Child Care Section meets on the 2nd Wednesday of odd # months from 12-1 pm online. Register for meetings here.
