Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition (KBC) is honored to have been selected as one of four Kansas nonprofit organizations to participate in the Kansas Advocates for Equity, Education and Health (KAEEH) initiative. Funding from this 3-year initiative will support the KBC’s First 1,000 Days Kansas advocacy program. Stephanne Rupnicki, Chair of the KBC Board of Directors said, “We look forward to expanding our advocacy work in collaboration with our new KAEEH partners and others to support Black, Indigenous, and Latinx families in the critical first 1,000 days from a woman’s pregnancy through the child’s second birthday.” The KBC appreciates the support of our members and partners who have helped position the KBC for this amazing opportunity.
