Amber Martin serves as Education Support for the KBC. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. Her own breastfeeding experiences- both the struggles and successes – and her work with breastfeeding mothers as a WIC dietitian have fueled her passion for helping families meet their breastfeeding goals through education, support, and creating an environment supportive of breastfeeding. Amber also serves on the Mitchell County Breastfeeding Coalition and has led efforts to make Mitchell County a Community Supporting Breastfeeding. She is excited to be working with the KBC to support continued breastfeeding education in Kansas.
