Suzanne Bentley, DNP, APRN, CNM, IBCLC serves as the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Maternal-Child Division at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, Kansas. In her role she serves as expert practitioner, lactation consultant, educator, and patient advocate, and she assists with the implementation of evidence-based care including serving as lead for the facility’s work to maintain Baby-Friendly designation. Suzanne holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice with specialty in Nurse Midwifery, a Masters in Theological Studies and both a Masters and Bachelors of Science in Nursing. When not working to improve the quality of care for mothers and babies, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband Bob and family in their cabin deep in the mountains of Wyoming.
